AFAM Motocross aluminum anti-mud rings are hard-anodized. Hard anodizing is an additional, harder layer that reduces wear. The color is "Gun Metal" and the mudguards are machined tangent to the radius of the tooth base, on both sides, every other tooth. This groove allows sand and mud to drain away from the crown, so that dirt doesn't accumulate between the crown and the chain. With its 3D relief design, this sprocket is extremely lightweight, while maintaining maximum safety. Tolerances suitable for cross-country use and the AFAM tooth profile guarantee a high-quality product with a long service life. These MX crowns are also available in a color anodized finish.
