The SM5 helmet is the result of more than five years of intensive research, development and testing.
Alpinestars has examined every possible aspect to design the S-M5 helmet, a safe helmet carefully engineered to offer optimum protection and comfort.
Lightweight, with a thermo-injected shell incorporating a special blend of polymers and a five-density EPS liner, it ensures great comfort and shock absorption.
Available in a range of decors, it's sure to suit every style!

Shell and interior:

- Lightweight outer shell made from impact-resistant thermoplastic
- 3 shell sizes for a perfect fit (XS/S, M and L/XXL)
- 5-density EPS inner lining for shock absorption
- Antibacterial Silverplus®-treated interior for excellent moisture evacuation
- Removable, washable interior

Ventilation and safety:

- Maximized ventilation and high levels of heat exchange thanks to multiple air inlets and exhaust ports
- The visor is designed to direct air into the vents for better air circulation
- Patented visor release system ensures that the visor is released with the correct predetermined amount of force, whatever the angle of impact
- Pair of side shells with soft EPS foam prevents damage to the collarbone in the event of a collision
- Emergency extraction of cheek pads in the event of an accident
- Stainless steel double-D buckle for a tight, secure fit
- Hydration tube channels integrated into helmet cheek pads for added convenience and performance
- CE 22.06 and DOT approved
