The BMW R1300GS is notorious for its high lean angle. Pushing the heavy GS off its side stand can be a real challenge, especially for shorter riders. BMW knows that the GS will occasionally be loaded with luggage and equipment, which is why it has designed the GS with plenty of lean angle to compensate when the bike is weighed down and the suspension sinks, thus modifying the inclination.
Thanks to Altrider's adjustable side stand, you can create your ideal angle of inclination.
- Steel top to support the weight of the bike, rider and luggage.
- Continuously adjustable from 0.635 cm shorter to 4.445 cm longer than original
- Integrated, wider foot with convex surface for safe parking on soft and/or uneven ground
- Compatible with side stand switch
- Simple installation, reusing original mounting hardware and springs
