WHAT IS DYNEEMA® FIBER?

Developed by Bowtex® specifically for motorcycle use in partnership with Dyneema®, the fabric used in the ELITE range is unique and 100% made in Germany. Its thermo-conductive properties ensure soft, cool contact with the skin, for optimum comfort. Dyneema® offers maximum strength for minimum weight. It is produced using a patented gel-spinning process in which the fibers are stretched, heated, elongated and cooled. Bowtex takes these super-strong yarns and assembles them on a circular knitting machine to create this unique double-sided Dyneema®/polyamide fabric. It's stronger than other fabrics for the same weight: 15 times stronger than steel! In addition to its extraordinary strength, Dyneema® excels in cut and abrasion resistance, and is highly resistant to chemicals and UV rays.
