The Ténéré 700's rear brakes are one of the machine's acknowledged weak points. While its softness and limited effectiveness are well tolerated on the road, this youthful flaw becomes much more of a handicap off-road.

Replacing the original brake pads with a more aggressive model was, for many, the quickest and most economical solution to this problem. But the Canadians at Camel ADV Products have developed a more radical and effective solution: a totally new brake pedal that simply replaces the original one!

Modestly named "The Fix", this brake pedal offers a different stroke and lever arm to the original pedal. The effort you apply to the pedal is transmitted to the master cylinder much more quickly and incisively.

The bearing has also been carefully dimensioned to eliminate any operating play: the slightest pressure on the pedal is instantly transmitted to the master cylinder - no more "dead" stroke.

The pedal rod is made of 6.4 mm thick 304 steel, limiting deformation during hard braking for maximum transmission of force to the piston.

NB: Model supplied with "Enduro" tip (35mm), "Street" tip (57mm) available separately.
