Discover Gerbing XTREME AIR heated motorcycle gloves, the new generation of Gerbing heated gloves.
You can connect these hybrid gloves to your motorcycle's 12V battery for unlimited autonomy, or with 7V or 12V batteries (for more heating than 7V).
Made from textile with a leather palm, they offer the best heating on the market, and the heating system is guaranteed for life.
Lined with Thinsulate, they feature a waterproof membrane.
Gloves sold alone, take a pack with battery connection cable to run them on your motorcycle's battery / or pack with batteries (x2) + charger for stand-alone operation.
Technical specifications:
- Upper hand material: technical, abrasion-resistant textile with high comfort level
- Palm material: goat leather
- Heats fingers all the way to the tip, back of hand and thumb
- Rigid protective shell on top of the hand: comfortable and shock-resistant in the event of a fall
- Waterproof and windproof thanks to their Hipora membrane
- Thinsulate insulation and soft lining for added comfort and warmth
- Visor wiper on index finger of left hand
- Long cuff
- Tactile index finger
- Temperature adjustment via knob on glove cuff (no longer an independent temperature regulator): 3 positions
- Pocket in each glove at wrist level (outside) for Gerbing 7.4V or 12V batteries (sold separately)
- This XTREME AIR model offers really improved heating with 12V batteries compared to 7.4V batteries: heating is then comparable to a connection to your motorcycle battery (with an autonomy of 2h to 6h depending on the heating level chosen).
- Lifetime warranty on heating elements
- Connectable to any 12V vehicle socket (motorcycle, quad, snowmobile...)
- Heater brand that has sponsored the most expeditions to the North Cape in winter (down to -30°C)
- Heated products ecosystem: you can connect your gloves to an under-jacket, under-pants and heated socks to make sure you're warm all over your body.
Gerbing XTREME AIR gloves use Microwire Pro® technology. This patented system comprises hundreds of Teflon-coated stainless steel filaments sewn into a fabric embedded in the gloves. This technology is the most durable and effective over time, as the steel filaments are virtually unbreakable (the steel wire can stretch and shrink by 30%), do not wear out, and heat up very quickly (10 seconds after connection).
In stand-alone mode, charging time varies according to outdoor temperature and batteries used (between 2h and 6h).
Charging may be reduced if the outside temperature is very low and the batteries are not protected.
Below 5°C, the battery will only produce 80% of its power.
IXTEM MOTO tipIf you opt for battery heating, be very careful when choosing which batteries you use: 7.4V batteries are recommended for short or urban journeys, while 12V batteries are recommended for long journeys at temperatures close to 0°C or below.
