Model 2.0 offers even more effective warmth than the previous DEFENDER TEX model

Gerbing XTREME DEFENDER TEX 2.0 gloves use Microwire Pro® technology. This patented system comprises hundreds of stainless steel filaments coated with Teflon and sewn into a fabric embedded in the gloves. This technology is the most durable and effective over time, as the steel filaments are virtually unbreakable (the steel wire can stretch and shrink by 30%), do not wear out, and heat up very quickly (10 seconds after connection).
