Fitting the Quad Lock universal adapter

The Quad Lock universal adapter uses a 3M VHB adhesive that sticks to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as plastic and metal. It does NOT adhere to rubber, silicone, TPU, soft-touch coatings or hydrophobic (water-resistant) glass. Pay particular attention to these usage restrictions if you plan to install the adapter on a protective shell or case.

The 4 steps to follow :

1 - Wipe the surface with an alcohol-based cleaner. Make sure the residue has evaporated and the surface is dry before applying the adapter.

2 - Remove the protective layer of 3M adhesive.

3 - Place the adapter on the back of your hull, using the central marking lines on the adapter.

4 - Press firmly on the adapter to obtain a good grip. The adhesive strip will have maximum adhesion after 24 hours. Always check that the adhesive strip is properly bonded before use.
