This protection for the KTM Adventure 790, 890 and Norden 901 has been developed by the Canadians at Camel ADV Products to protect the rear shock absorber from heat.

The EURO 5 catalytic converter generates a great deal of heat, which is likely to alter the viscosity of the oil and therefore the behavior of your shock absorber. This accessory will limit this phenomenon, ensuring optimum damping even after several hours' driving. Indirectly, it also extends the life of your shock absorber.
